Mercer Ambassadors

The Mercer Ambassador Program was established in 1983. The purpose of the Mercer Ambassador Program is to promote programs and means of communication in an effort to:

  • Develop mutually beneficial relationships with Mercer University alumni
  • Develop future alumni leadership
  • Interact with and communicate student perspectives to individuals within the University community as well as local, state, regional, and national alumni and friends in business, industry and government
  • Promote goodwill amongst all the colleges and schools within the University
  • Develop personal and professional spirit among all those with whom the Mercer Ambassadors interact.

Examples of Mercer Ambassadors Activities

  • Donate volunteer hours to Mercer University
  • Speak at various alumni meetings, events and activities
  • Assist with University special events such as Homecoming, Half Century Club and Executive Forum
